The enemy likes to use your past against you, to keep you from walking your divine destiny that god has planned for you. If, we don't overcome our past, then we will not be able to walk in the fulfillment of our purpose God has chosen for us.We are overcomers only through Christ, we can't defeat the enemy in our own strength and power.

Over Come= The better of in a struggle or conflict;conquer;defeat; to over come the enemy

Past=gone by in time and no longer existing;done

It doesn't matter what you did in your past, If you ask God to forgive you, you're forgiven.(2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
